Meet Coach Bromiley

I was born and raised in East Wenatchee, WA. I grew up around sports. My grandpa played baseball for a Farm League team and later coached my dad in baseball. My dad played baseball and basketball when he was growing up. After High School he played for the New York Yankees Baseball Club for about 7 years. Then from 1990 - 1995, he was the Varsity Head Coach for the Eastmont Ladycats.
During this time, I was running around the gym and on the bus with the team. In 1993 & 1994, my dad took the Ladycats to the State AA Tournament. After the District games, I got to keep a piece of the net that the girls had cut down after winning. I attended both of the State Tournaments and remember it being overwhelming. I was able to sit on the bench and go into the locker rooms with the team. To this day I can still recall certain memories and remember how "big and loud" the atmosphere in the dome (King Dome) was. It wasn't that much longer that I returned to another dome (Tacoma Dome), this time as a player.
I played Eastmont AAU Basketball, league soccer, and a couple years of softball. Our AAU team got invited to play in Las Vegas, NV and so in the summer of 1996 we flew to Las Vegas. I also traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado with a team called "Sisters with Skills."
During 9th grade school ball, while playing for the Eastmont Bobcats, our team went undefeated (20-0). The next three years (1998-2001), I got the privilege of playing Varsity soccer and basketball for Eastmont. My last two years, I was also on the golf team. In 1999 & 2000, our basketball team got 1st in Districts, 1st in Regionals (2000), and went to the State 3A Tournament in the Tacoma Dome.
Once again I found myself taking a piece of the net, but this time I was the one wearing the "all important" Eastmont jersey. Unless you have been in that moment you can't fully understand the pride and excitement that comes with being an Eastmont Ladycat. Walking into a dome filled with thousands of seats and two basketball courts laid on ice gives you a feeling of accomplishment even before the tournament begins. However, the feeling you have when you walk onto the court with your red, white, and blue Eastmont jersey on is a feeling like no other. You seem to raise your chest a little higher, walk a little lighter, and say "Eastmont" a little louder.
After High School, I continued playing basketball for two more years at Wenatchee Valley College. My first year, our team played in the Championship game in the NWAACC Tournament in Tri-Cities. My second year, we returned to the NWAACC Tournament and placed third.
I continued my education at Central Washington University where I received my Elementary Education certificate with a minor in Personal Computer Applications. During college, I continued to support the Eastmont basketball program by helping coach a girls' AAU team. In 2005, I received my first coaching position. I coached Eastmont's 9th grade girls and went 10-8 in the Big 9 League. My 2006-07 J.V. team went 11-7 in the 3A/4A League. In 2010-11, my J.V. team was 12-2 in 3A league play and 15-5 overall. I look forward to another great season.
